The name comes from the story of the 52-hertz whale, a real whale that sings at a frequency no other whales seem to hear. It’s a little lonely, and kind of beautiful. That story stuck with me.

I’ve often felt like that whale doing my own thing, figuring it out as I go.

WHLN Studio is a small space where I get to create from that place, something creative, comforting, and a little bit magical.
